Sweetened Whipped Cream

Never purchase the cool whip from the freezer section of your grocery store! This is soooooo much better!



Sweetened Whipped Cream

Makes 2 cups

1 cup cold heavy cream
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Whip the cream in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a whisk attachment (you can also use a hand mixer). When it starts to thicken, add the sugar and vanilla and continue to beat until firm. Don't overbeat!
